As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing your stay, our hotel will be undergoing a phased renovation from 1 August to 11 December 2026.

This transformation marks an exciting new chapter as Iconic Hotel Penang prepares to be reintroduced as Courtyard by Marriott Penang Icon City, bringing a refreshed experience and enhanced offerings for our valued guests.

During this period, the hotel will remain open and continue welcoming guests as scheduled. Renovation works will be carried out in carefully planned phases, with only selected areas being upgraded at any one time to minimise disruption to your experience.

Please be advised that our recreational facilities will be temporarily closed from 1 August to 21 August 2026 to facilitate enhancement works.

To help ensure a comfortable and restful stay for all guests, renovation activities will be limited to 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. While every effort will be made to minimise noise and inconvenience, occasional construction-related disturbances may be experienced during these hours.
